The Mill in Fairhope is one of our town's favorite venues for good eats and weekend socializing. Unfortunately for the owners and all of the restaurants within, a lack of wind has caused a sudden power outage forcing a shutdown. The Mill operates on wind energy created by the large windmill on the south side of the building, creating one of the "greenest" facilities on the eastern shore. Similarly, Nuke's restaurant chain in Daphne powers their facility with a nuclear reactor, which also functions as a grill and pizza oven. The new owners of The Mill are asking Fairhope residents to show support by blowing towards The Mill as hard as possible.
