Fairhope to zone left lanes as rental property and collect rent since so many cars want to live there.

The City of Fairhope has declared the left lane of all major roadways officially zoned for commercial rental property owned by the city. The City Council has been working tirelessly with local Real Estate Agents to come up with fair prices for those who wish to live in the left lane, which seems like many many people. The Fairhope Police will be collecting the rent from the vehicles over utilizing left lanes, and unfortunately taking over all landlord duties as well, such as fixing broken appliances on the side of the road and spending security deposits in Biloxi.

  1. Thank God. I was afraid the city was going to declare the left laners to be left wingers and confiscate their automobiles and then spend $10 million on attorney's fees defending a due process deprivation of property action before losing and turning the vehicles back over to the rightful owners.
