The most beloved Italian eateries in Daphne, Guido's and Cousin Vinny's, closed it's doors last year after allegations of unpaid taxes came forward. Even the Montrose Mafia couldn't pull together funds to recover the business before the government intervened, scooping up the restaurant for their own benefit. Cousin Vinny's will now operate for the City of Daphne as Uncle Sam's with a staff of current city employees. If your'e craving authentic Southern Italian dishes passed down for generations, this probably won't be your cup of vino, as Uncle Sam's will only serve hot dogs and freedom.
