This past fall Fairhope celebrity Master Joe, owner of many local restaurants, finished Grad school with a PhD. degree in Applied Tuna Sciences. The current sushi establishment Master Joe's will likewise get a name change to Doctor Joe's, but will still serve the mix of Asian cuisine that made it famous.
Doctor Joe states that nothing has changed but his title, but can now be seen sporting a corduroy blazer whilst puffing on a vintage tobacco pipe. Doctor Joe's family is especially proyd of this achievement, and has scolded Joe's younger less successful brother, G.E.D Jim, for not following his brother's path.
