City moving forward with Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project.
The City of Fairhope has finally approved motions to spend upwards of 1 Million dollars to improve pedestrian safety. The project sets to purchase 1 inflatable ball for each family within city limits, and 1000 extra balls for rent downtown for tourists. With the use of the human sized balls, pedestrians can safely cross the street with ease and comfort knowing that the worst sustainable injury would be nausea induced from rolling down Fairhope avenue into Mobile Bay. The company manufacturing the balls has customized this version to include a airtight window for purchasing Cappuccinos on the go.
