New Movie filming in Fairhope to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, will utilize new Sewers.

Film crews set up shop downtown Fairhope last week in preparation for the latest installment in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series, this feature titled TMNT 8: Secret of Mobile Bay. The City has let the production utilize the newly installed portions of the sewer system downtown for the next several months and all pizza has been provided by Section Street Pizza.

The story takes place in the Mobile Bay area as the turtle's mentor, Master Splinter, discovers that he is a nutria, and sets out to find his family. The turtles have to eventually come to Fairhope to rescue Splinter from an alligator who gained supernatural abilities when he swam in Fairhope Beach during a toxic event. It's likely you'll see the film crews in the next few months and the Turtles are open to autographs and pictures when not filming, just look here at Michelangelo posing at Fairhope's Sage restaurant just yesterday!
